Learning made real, through a child’s eyes.

robothink® at color beams

Robothink is hands-on robotics and engineering for ages 4½ and up. Children design, build, test, and problem-solve through play and collaboration. It’s a natural extension of how we teach at Color Beams. The official RoboThink franchisee for Makati, housed within Color Beams.

Building & Designing

Children design and build models, then explore challenges together—testing ideas, imagining possibilities, and learning through play.

Delivered by the official RoboThink franchisee for Makati within the child-centered environment of Color Beams.

Problem-Solving

Each session presents a challenge. A robot that moves a certain way. A structure that holds weight. A design that solves a real problem.

Children work through the challenge together. They test. They adjust. They discover what works and why.

This is engineering thinking in action.

Collaboration

No child works alone. They listen to each other’s ideas. They build on each other’s thinking. Teamwork emerges naturally when children work on something real together.

Play & Creativity

This is play. Creative exploration. The joy of building something that works.

Children analyze, understand, and have fun — all at the same time.

what children develop

engineering thinking

How things work. How to build. How to test. How to solve problems through design.

collaborative problem solving

Listening to others’ ideas. Building on each other’s thinking. Working toward a shared solution.

persistence & resilience

When something doesn’t work, try again. Adjust. Test. Learn from failure.

creative thinking

There’s no one right answer. Children imagine, design, and build their own solutions.

hands-on skill development

Fine motor control. Spatial reasoning. Understanding how materials and systems work together.

Who It's For

Ages 4½ and up. Color Beams students and children from other schools welcome.

This program works for children who are curious about how things work, love building and creating, enjoy hands-on exploration, like working with others, and are ready for challenges.

No prior robotics experience needed. Just curiosity and willingness to play, build, and problem-solve.

One-and-a-half hour classes. Twice a week. After school. Small groups.

How Robothink Extends Color Beams

Robothink isn’t separate from what happens in the five learning environments. It’s an extension of the same philosophy.

In the Red Room, children explore shapes and patterns through block play. In Robothink, they apply that understanding to engineering challenges.

In the Yellow Room, children explore numbers and relationships. In Robothink, they use spatial thinking and measurement.

In the Blue Room, they develop fine motor skills through play. In Robothink, those skills become tools for building.

The same approach guides both: Children learn by doing. Through their hands. Through exploration. Through collaboration. Through play.

Robothink makes that learning more extensive by applying it to real-world problem-solving and engineering thinking.
